Jay Bolding, Owner
Jay was born in Kansas, graduated from Kansas State University in 1981 with an accounting degree and spent the next 13 years in public accounting with KPMG. He spent the next 13 years in private business holding various corporate accounting/finance positions which included his family’s move to Omaha in 1997. In 2009 Jay opened BOLD Office Solutions (BOLD), a Kimball Select Dealership. Jay has overseen the evolution of BOLD from a provider of office furniture to an award-winning provider of outstanding commercial furniture products and service as recognized by winning the B2B award as one Omaha’s best dealerships from 2015 thru 2020 (and hopefully beyond).
Hunter Bolding, Director of Sales and Service (Furniture Specialist)
Hunter is a graduate of University of Nebraska (UNO) and current member of the Young Alumni Association. He joined the BOLD sales team in 2010. Over the decade he has become the furniture specialist due to his extensive knowledge about commercial office products. Hunter enjoys assisting his clients through the furniture selection process giving them a full experience and finds it rewarding seeing projects come to life. Hunter and his wife have two children and a goldendoodle. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, working on projects around the house, camping, fishing, golfing, and traveling.
Christine Reed, Design & Product Support
Christine graduated with her Interior Design degree in 2019 and joined BOLD in 2021. Her keen eye for design allows her to assist our clients with the furniture finish selection process. She provides daily support to the design & sales team with tasks varying from contacting the manufacturer sales reps for pricing, generating proposals or submitting and tracking product orders. Christine and her husband moved to Omaha in 2009 with the Air Force and decided to stay in Omaha after he retired. She has two adult children and two Rhodesian Ridgebacks. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, decorating, and is active in her local church. Her favorite color is purple!
Beth Carpenter, Accounting Manager
Beth is a graduate of Creighton University. She joined the BOLD team in 2022. She 20+ years of management, sales, and business experience in domestic and international markets. In her free time, she enjoys competing and coaching powerlifting, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
